Life.

I have not posted a blog on Tumblr in almost a year. So here I am posting a blog on December 6th, 2011.

It’s Christmas season! Yay! I love Christmas. There’s something about the cold, snowy, red and green days that I just love. I’m excited for this Christmas. It’s going to be memorable one. Why? Because I personally think I have really grown this past year. I now fully appreciate my parents for all that have done for me and all that they now do for me. Not that I didn’t before, but really you don’t know what they do for you until you move out…or at least that’s how it was/is for me. I love it. I love my family and my friends so much. I know they are always there for me. I also have matured a lot. Lol. I wasn’t really immature before, but I wasn’t a strong independent person like I am now. I am truly grateful for that.

Since I haven’t been on here in a while, I am just gonna give a short recap of what’s happened over the past year.

In the beginning of March I quit working for Walmart and moved my issues to Las Vegas, Nevada. I loved living there! I lived in a house all to myself and I lived close to family and SHOPPING! Every girls best friend, right? It was fun for a while, but then things started to fall apart for me and I got really depressed and ended up moving home for 2 weeks. 2 weeks? Yeah, after those 2 weeks and after moving my oldest brother, Craig, to Gilbert, Arizona, I moved up to Provo, Utah for a job. An awesome paying job. I lived and worked in Provo for the summer doing an internship with Southern Utah University and the Forest Service. I worked out side 99.8% of the time making $11.97 an hour. Lets just say I had a great tan…on my arms. haha. While working during the summer, I made the decision to go to school at Dixie State College in St. George, Utah and on August 16th, 2011, I moved to St. George, Utah. So far it has been the best decision I have made. I love it here. I’ve made some good friends and I’ve gotten close to my family again because I only live 45 minutes away from them which I love! I have amazing parents and 2 amazing brothers (& a sister in law and 2 nephews)! They are the most important people in my life. Oh and I almost forgot to mention that I gained a nephew May 8th, 2011! He’s an amazing little kid and I can’t wait to see him again for Christmas.
Anyways, now days I’m trying to make it through the last week of classes for this semester and getting ready for finals which are to take place next week. Exciting! Not. Wish me luck, I’ll need it!

Now everyone and their dog is up to date with where I’ve been, and what I’ve been up to this past year. It’s been a pretty exciting year for me. A definite year of firsts…first love…first kiss…first…you get the point. ;) I still haven’t had a boyfriend, though…or been on a real date, that much hasn’t changed. haha.

Anyways, I hope everyone has a good Christmas!
Hopefully I’ll write more blogs in the future.

Being a young adult is a great gift…. Anything is still possible, you have not failed yet, or felt friends fall away…. Pass away… You have not hurt anybody, or yourself. Enjoy it, and keep it. For real… Just a thought

“The thing with music is that—that’s really cool is when you watch movies, it has such an ability to make you really feel a certain way. angry, sad, happy, or whatever. you can never really relate to the actors because the actors are portraying someone that’s different. they’re always acting like someone who is angry, mad, happy, whatever, so you don’t really know who they are and they’re different in every movie. when you like musicians, you know when you look at musicians, and rock bands, whatever; these people for the most part, 90% of the time, they’re being themselves. and if you like what they’re about, which is usually about themselves, and how they dress and who they are and whatever, you kinda - kids will mold themselves after bands because they can relate to them, they can say, “hey what he’s singing about is exactly what my life is like”, and how he talks or her, whatever. i mean that’s the thing about music it’s the genuine art form where someone really puts them self out in a song. and i think you can attach yourself to that quite easily. or you can pick and choose which bands really kinda make up the ingredients that make your life what it is. so, in any case, that’s what i love about music. lately, i haven’t had that, i haven’t felt that from that many bands that have come out. i’m looking for something that’s like spiritual and out of this world. shit that when it starts you feel like fuck, this stuff’s from like heaven. i think that’s why we’re gonna call this thing angels and airwaves because i think like that’s what we’re trying to create. i’m trying to create a record that i love, a record that has - every single song has that thing that gives you goosebumps and makes you wanna go out and rule the world. you know, or something like that. i don’t know, it doesn’t exist anymore. it doesn’t. it just hasn’t existed since like the 80’s, you know?”
